Hi and Hello,
My name is Alejandro Fuentes and although I am on this site I am not looking for a potential pen pal but rather help on a legal matter. I am looking for someone with ties to an experienced lawyer looking for recognition in either the dismissal of my conviction or help in applying for a time cut. I am not fortunate enough to afford a lawyer but anyone with knowledge of my case will find it very interesting. With the right help, I can be set free.

About my case... On April 25, 1993 when I was 14 years old I was with a friend who was 16 at the time, who shot a store owner out of spite. I had no knowledge he was going to commit the offence. Fortunately the man survived. Being young, I panicked and ran. I never took any money or tried, neither did my friend. Being scared, I failed to report my friend. Later on that day we were arrested and both charged with Att. Capital Murder, being in Texas there is no such charge as accessory. I was made an offer of 12 years to plead guilty but refused. I did not commit the offence nor did I even know of it before hand. 4 months later I took it to a jury trial and was basically convicted by my school record and sentenced to 25 years by the judge. I appealed a motion for a new trial due to the 101 errors but was denied. Only the affirmative finding of a deadly weapon was dropped making my time a non-agg. My friend settled for a 50 year plea bargain. Neither one of us ever demanded any money, nor was any taken. My offence shouldn't have been a capital offence, if any.

Never-the-less, 11 years later I'm still in prison. Small petty cases that can't be avoided have kept me here and I need legal and financial help in hopes to overturn my case or to apply for a time cut.

To this day I've never been involved in drugs or alcohol and I do not have any tattoos. I am a very respectful person who made a mistake as a kid and although I have a very supportive family, they are unable to help me financially. If you know of anyone who can help me, please contact me. Without help there's no hope.
