Hello and welcome to Jail Mail. We know how difficult time can be without friends and mail to brighten your day. Our goal is to help you regain some contact with the outside and to help ease your time by bringing a friend and a smile to your day.

Why should you choose our site?
* We believe our prices to be quite competitive. We are the lowest on the internet and we offer more services with a personal touch.
* You will have World Wide Web (WWW) exposure within 2-8 days of the receipt of your ad. Most other companies offer 4-6 weeks delay before placing your ad. Your ad will be seen this much sooner with Jail Mail.
* Our commitment to you doesn't end with your ad being placed on Jail Mail. This is not just a business to us, we are dedicated to providing you with the best possible service. We also sincerely care. This means if, during the course of the year, you have any questions, we will always be happy to give you a personalized and speedy response. It is important to us that you are happy with our service. If you have questions about your ad, or comments on how we can improve our service, please drop us a line. We are always happy to hear success stories, so please be sure to let us know when you have met someone special. We will post your comments on our special page dedicated to our happy customers.
* Your ad can be paid for with a money order mailed in with the application, or separately by a family member or friend, or by institutional checks. US funds only please.
* We will notify you 2 months before your ad is due to expire so you may renew your ad.
* We advertise in the print media as well as all the major search engines on the internet. Many internet pen pal sites do not advertise and rely on people to find their web site. We advertise in high traffic areas so our site and your ad WILL be seen. We are currently listed first or second on the internet for prison pen pal sites. Our ads are very successful!

Email Forwarding: $10 minimum deposit to cover $1 fee for weekly mailings (if you have received any).
Extra Photo on your web page: $5 each
Extra Text for your web page: $5 per 50 words
Extra Exposure: $25 for your photo & link to be placed on the most prominent page of our site for 3 months.
Hit counter: $5 per year to let you know how many visitors to your web page you have had.
Copies of your photos: $12 per sheet to include either 3-4X6, or 9 wallets or 15 mixed photos. One copy of 4X6 only - $5 each. Please specify size & quantity.
Ad Changes: $10 and will include a color copy of your ad.
Additional Copies of your web page: $3 each.

Added Extras free of charge:
Photo changes are free.
If you will be released in the coming year and would like to be added to the listing for Short-Timers free of charge, please let us know.
If you will be released this year and would like to be added to the Sponsorship Program free of charge designed to help you find assistance by way of lodging, support or financial help. We now have a listing where we ask for people in your area who are able to help to either contact you directly or they can email us. If you would like to be listed, we will be happy to add a paragraph about what you might be looking for, with a direct link to your web page. This is a new project and we hope to have the support of many people to assist our members when the time comes.

~Helpful Hints To Receive The Maximum Response From Your Ad~
* Please remember to let us know of any address updates, if we receive return mail due to an incorrect address, we will have to temporarily remove your web page from the site.
* Keep our addresses handy if you have any questions, and you never need to send a SASE. Please remember we cannot be your pen pal, due to our volume of mail, but we will work very hard trying to find pen pals for you. We are very successful due to our advertising and your good ad!
* Make your ad stand out. Remember potential pen pals are going through many ads. Make sure yours will catch their eye. Try to be personal, friendly and sincere. If you are having trouble writing 200 words, think of something unique and special only to you, something that will make you stand out. What makes you smile? What do you miss the most? What do you consider to be a perfect day?
* If you find you are receiving too much mail, let us know and we can temporarily suspend your ad or remove it. However, no refunds will be given at any time.
* Only you can make changes to your ad once it has been placed. In order to make any changes or to have your ad removed, we must receive a letter from you with your signature.
* Please don't cut your photos, if you are not too close together, we can crop them.
