My life story in a nut shell

Hello, my name is Alfred L. Rogers. I'm from Pine Bluff, ARK. I'm 43 years old. I'm currently fighting a life sentence which I received in 1993 for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Guilt by association is how I'd like to put it. Some guys from upstate came to my home town and got the big head. So when things went wrong as they always will, all roads lead to me. As a first time offender I was a perfect sacrifice for these repeated drug offenders. So they were given seven to ten years and a chance to do it again. Since I refused to work with them, the unjust judge sentenced me to life in prison.

I'm a God-fearing man who came to know JESUS for myself while incarcerated. So my stay here is not as bad as it could have been. I love music, especially gospel. Not only have I temporarily lost my freedom, I've also lost contact with the outside world. While God is working things out for me, I could sure use a friend. Nothing more nothing less.
