Cornelius W. Harris
I'm a 5'7", 175 pound, black male. I enjoy reading, writing poetry, jogging, lifting weights, and studying God's word. I'm also an excellent cook.
I'm in my 16th year of a life sentence. I shot a man who was attacking my sister. Unfortunately the guy later died. I went before the parole board in 2001, I'm scheduled to see the board again in 2005. The day is coming when I'll once again be a free man. Physically free that is. Mentally, I've been free ever since the day that I experienced the peace that passeth all understanding. I'd love to share my memories of that day with you one day.
I often smile when I think of how good God's been to me. In the midst of what has to be the most trying time of my life, not only have I found inner peace, I know that the best years of my life are those ahead of me. There are so many dreams and aspirations yet to be pursued. Like a kid in a candy store, I sometime overflow with anticipation.
I seek someone with whom I can share my thoughts, dreams and aspirations. Hopefully that's you! I welcome the opportunity to correspond with an open, honest, mature woman. Race is unimportant. It's been quite a while since I've connected with an interesting, intelligent woman, so handle with care!

I speak these words of truth
So I set out in search of you
The wife of my youth
No matter how long it takes
Searching, I won't grow bored
Success brings about favor
These words come from my Lord
A treasure priced above rubies
You're prophesied to be
Not for the average guy
Created just for me
Speaking words of wisdom
With a benevolent mind
Clothed with strength and honor
And a tongue that's oh so kind
No need for casual relationships
They don't satisfy the heart
Aware of a divine soul mate
Provided from the start
You've always been real to me
As I'm real to you
Leaning on God's word
Which we both know is true
He maintains all creation
Every need met from above
Bestowing gifts upon the faith
The greatest of which is love
Having made our requests known
Believing it will come to pass
This connection being evidence thereof
Of course, it already has
Yes, you're the virtuous woman
Who's always been my wife
Even though we've never met
I've known you all my life.
