I pray that by the time this letter graces your hands, God will have you gently embraced in his. It's funny, me beginning this letter without even knowing your name. Yet I feel a certain attachment. It's like although we're total strangers, we still share a common bond. It's as if our heartbeats are aligned, our thoughts in tune, like I can exhale, only after you inhale. This bond, this link, it's invisible, but it exists. It's alive. It's natural. It's intense! But yet so subtle. It's the close cousin to the smile the stranger gives, when you so desperately need one. It's the compulsion to love and be loved! Its name: Reciprocation!!! Although we're strangers, I know you're my better half. The ying to my yang. My soul mate. I know you're out there. I'm reaching out. Allow yourself to be embraced.
Here's who I am. I'm 25 with 15 months until my minimum sentence. Although I'm young, I've been told I have an old soul. A man who's made many mistakes, and few excuses.
