My name is Dawn Wilson, I am a 32 year old African American mother. I am 5'7" tall, weighing 165 pounds and a woman who loves to smile and laugh. Laughter is the best medicine for the human heart. . . at least my heart.
I love life. Throughout my 32 years, I've fallen in love with it, as well as poetry. Poetry gives and allows me closure in life. The thing about it all is, poetry lets me be myself and allows me to say what I feel. Poetry is one of my loves, but my Heavenly Father first. Poetry and I know one another; we listen to each other.
I'm successful with myself. I am a woman who's been blessed with loving people and accepting them for who they are. People and my children make me smile. I always do my best to find goodness in others and am always there to listen and be there for others to the best of my ability regardless of what.
I miss my family and children terribly. I miss cooking, singing and being a good mother and friend. I had friends, but they've drifted off and on with their own lives. I don't blame them, however. I just don't believe in giving up on people.
Taking long walks, sitting close to the ocean/river, listening to it's heaven and being with family and friends was priceless. I knew this at home, but I honestly never knew just how priceless it all was. I love hard, I love strong. I give my all. I've never regretted this. I made a mistake in my life, however, I'm a good person. I really hope to find new friends. If God allows it, it will be. God bless and have a blessed day.
