My name is Ezekuiel Galindo R. I'm a 30 year old inmate, currently incarcerated at Calipatria State Prison, California. For eleven years I've been subjected to the daily... indignities, despair and pointlessness that is inherent to being incarcerated. I also know the occasional horror that accompany this place. But I've also experienced the small triumphs of the human spirit, when the odds are against it and brief flashes of kindness that can surface in a brotherhood of men.
My spirit now longs to experience the tenderness that perhaps can be found in corresponding with a woman who isn't afraid to dream and hopes to succeed. Fearless, kind, not a stranger to disillusions and heartaches and graceful at rising when the... waves of life knock her down. I'll like to have, if only through letters, somebody to share our mutual interests and passions - "as one of mine is art". Somebody to fill that space in my heart that aches to be nurtured with a kind word and reminded that I'm not alone, when I realize that the world spins around the sun, and the stars and galaxies race away from each other, in the infinite immensity of the universe - and my heart is filled with awe and dread.
