it came, the dust and the dirt. Let the vultures
eat my flesh, as they did before my death; and
give my scattered leftovers, to poor and oppressed.
My veins are filled with liquids, that's keeping
me alive; though I never asked to be here, I
wanted to survive. I thought I'd make a difference,
how crazy one can be! So hard to be conformed, but
it's crazy to be free. Vowed to never have a child,
no exceptions to the rule; why subject my
likened image to a place so wholly cruel? I've
been waiting for the end, ever since this journey
started; not content to be connected, I'd much
rather be departed. All my years have been
confusion, disappointment and defeat; life's
a fruit that's ooh so sour with a smell that's
ooh so sweet. I don't know what lies ahead,
but I walk without fear; only hoping I'll find
happiness as I didn't find it here.
