Eric Williams
Are you familiar with loneliness? Are you in search of a special friend? Are you willing to communicate with someone in prison? If so, you and I may have the answers to each other's request, an opportunity to gain a new found friend.
During the past 8 years of my incarceration I have been wondering if there is a woman in today's society who is intelligent, open-minded and beautiful (inside-out), mentally strong enough to cope with communicating with a man in prison. People need people and friends need friends. Will you be mine?
Cast away from society for so many years has given me a chance to identify the four most important parts of happiness. Family, Friendship, Future and Foundation. It takes a special woman to look deep within these walls of concrete and touch a man's life whom she knows little or nothing about. Which is why you should ask yourself when was the last time you felt appreciated? Because women such as yourself are very hard to find and are very unappreciated in every meaning of the word. The woman I seek is 25-40ish, race is of no concern. Communication is the key. I enjoy reading and writing poetry of love and inspiration. I really adore good conversation. I'm always willing to hear whatever may be on a woman's mind. You and I already have something in common. "We both are seeking some attention from someone who cares." Share with me your thoughts, dreams and ambitions.
I am 5'8" tall and weigh 170 lbs. I am very adroit and dexterous. Drawing and repairing things are a couple of my favorite things to do. I have 4 years left on a 15 year sentence I received from 1995. I hope that the friendship can and will continue to grow from there on. I am more than ready and willing to receive all letters of interest in my request. Nothing can be more heartwarming than a sweet smelling letter from a woman. Something I haven't been able to experience for a long time. Big, little, skinny or tall I want to be touched by all.
God Bless!!

Remove the bitterness of mine,
Take the darkness of my emotions,
Fill it with sunshine.
With the gentleness of your hands,
Remove the pain buried in my chest,
Take the despair in my words,
Fill them with zest.
With the sparkle in your eyes,
Remove the hurt in my tears,
Take the sorrow in my voice,
Fill it with plenty of cheers.
With the grace of your spirit,
Remove the loneliness I feel,
Take the shattered pieces of my life,
Fill them with a bond that's real.

What is space without the stars,
What is life without the sun,
....Nothing.
A book without words,
A pen without ink,
A classroom without students,
....Nothing.
Without someone to talk to,
Without someone to write to,
Without someone to share with,
....Nothing.

lost in loneliness and misery,
through the four corners of my mind
I attempt to vision life
beyond the four corners of concrete and steel,
the most beautiful thing,
FREEDOM
Within myself, I seek courage,
strength and patience
Afraid... I am not
Lost... I may be
yet I still have my sanity,
because behind these large brick walls
and high fences,
I tend to forget who I am
where I'm at,
but never have I lost sight of,
the most beautiful thing,
FREEDOM
I cry sometimes but, shed no tears
I can't show any weakness
in the face of my peers.
So I keep them inside along with my anger
yearning to experience,
the most beautiful thing,
FREEDOM AGAIN
