I enjoy being prayerful, reading, listening to music, pondering the stars above, and my work as a training representative/clerk with the Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE) Mailroom (I've been with them since the beginning in 1993), and... my free time endeavors within the inmate Hobby Shop - making wood intarsia pieces (like the Bengal Tiger head).
I've been working with wood for the last several years - focusing mainly on authentic Oregon Pine impressionism. Just about anything can be reproduced by scroll-sawing, sanding, staining, gluing, backing (putting a solid back on the finished piece), and lacquering (clear coat). It's Awesome!!!
