Tell me, can you imagine a world in which purgatorial retribution is considered the norm? Can you imagine living a life after its been stripped of its freedom and condemned by the society that once fed and nurtured it? If you can, than perhaps you and I have something in common: we're not afraid to dip into our subconscious for a glimpse of reality.
In my experience, I've been forced to accept reality, and in turn I've forced reality to accept me, but this forced mutual acceptance will never erode the pain of being deprived and rejected. Only comforting words of friendship can do that.
