Jail Mail Prison Pen Pals

Hello

My name is James Bass, I'm 30 years old, have brown hair and blue eyes. I'd first like to introduce myself, and I welcome all sincere people interested in making a good life long friend.

I'm very outgoing, love sharing, meeting new people, writing letters, art, poetry, body art, music, the outdoors, nature, some sports and many other things.

I'm looking for anyone sincere who's willing to share, talk, write letters and visit. Someone I can spend a lifetime growing close to, that kind of relationship where you can share anything and just keep each other company through whatever life may bring our way, through good times and bad! The true value of life is having someone you can share it all with!!

I am a Christian and I believe I have a lot to offer. I love family, and believe in good values such as trust and honesty, and I am a loyal friend. If you're sad, I will do my best to put a smile back on your face. If you're needing someone to talk to, I'm a great listener. If you're lonely, I am too and I know what it's like to feel forgotten! If you want a great friend, here I am, don't hesitate to write.

I live picnics, fishing, dancing, little things make me happy; just like spending time visiting and sharing with a good friend. I also like keeping in shape, lifting weights, football and old cars. I have a huge family, 7 brothers, 5 sisters and the most wonderful mom in the world, and nieces and nephews I love watching grow up.

I believe in making the most of my life and just having fun, making the best of it all. So that tells you a little about me, do write soon, and please exchange a picture. Until then, take care and God bless your home. (No gay males please.)

Most sincerely,
James Bass

If I had to write a poem about me,
I'd tell you to look deep into my eyes,
You would see,
A beauty, a depth way beyond measure,
Gifts of love, some of life's greatest treasures,
A window to my soul that will tell it all;
From my gentle nature, of a soft kiss,
Or even of being hurt, the lasting tear stains reminding of this.
My eyes give a growing glimpse of my soul,
And its treasures, wishes for a better tomorrow,
And love joining of two hearts.
My eyes show of giving, God's love,
Blessing, and of hard learned mistakes,
They tell of good and the bad breaks.
Eyes, you see, deep blue they may be,
Are windows and more.
So please look closely and you will see -
ME!

Nothing Could Be Nicer
by James Bass 3-6-03

Nothing could be nicer than seeing your smile,
Being with you and just talking a while.
Knowing you're liked when someone likes you,
Especially if that person is a good friend of yours.
Someone to make you think of your futures together,
Forget the past, and never looking back.
I know what it's worth sharing it all,
It can give you every pleasure,
Make is easier to get up if you trip or fall.
Tomorrow's like heaven, if you live your life right.
Somehow someway I'll find that one hold them close, dear and tight.
And I'll say again nothing could be nicer.

How many times can a heart be broken and be told the same old lies?
Here I sit and get told the same old lies;
How special I am, how lucky anyone would be to have me,
Or just how much I am cherished.
How can this be with your back to me,
And I'm watching you leave?
The ever search of the lonely heart,
As set by God in stone,
Our purpose, our journey.
Our very creation set upon the joining of two.
The very existence of all species relies upon connection,
Even the spawning of a single cell.
The heart, a body of joining veins deeper than minds fathom,
A purpose.
Broken pieces with a destined way, naturally searching for its place.
So I ask again how many times a heart can be broken
And be told the same old lies?
When times end, what's left will be, as two together!
No longer broken, its way!
