Joseph Luney 
My name is Joseph Luney and I am an African-American male, thirty years of age, and 6'4" in height. For those who are curious as to why I am incarcerated I will sum it up in one word - BANKS. Though the government calls me a threat to society, I am respected by many people. Money wasn't taken for material gain, but to aid single parents, men incarcerated, and to help children have a little fun.
I am from the Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky area known as Kentuckiana. In Kentucky I helped my father breed and raise show horses and later attended Kentucky State University for three years. I have three very beautiful daughters and recently divorced by their mother due to my incarceration.
I enjoy playing basketball, soccer, football and reading fiction and non-fiction books as well as books dealing with religion. Music definitely stirs my zeal. Nelly, Jay Z, Eminem, Mariah Carey, Pink, and No Doubt are just a few artists that I enjoy listening to. Sometimes I listen to classical music though I'm not familiar with the names of classical groups.
I adore children and making new friends. Children are definitely our future and strong friendships help provide a strong and caring community for children to be raised in. One of my biggest concerns is the power we have put in the hands of certain individuals which is destroying our friendships, communities and our children's chance at a promising future.
