I fear the beast who comes to feast on my lonely soul, who takes my love and leaves behind a hate that I can't control. Even in prison, when a man is striving to be whole, he carries with him that desire, for a man cannot perfect his wisdom without a strong, ardent and righteous woman to stand tall and proud beside him.
As I have laid in prison for the past 10 years, I have passed through every possible mood of suffering, terrible and potent rage, bitterness and scorn, anguish that weeps aloud and misery that possesses no voice. Perhaps the vacancy inside of my heart, which has been exposed to attacks of so much pain and loneliness, has caused me as a man to feel bitter from within. Yet I see now that adversity, sorrow and despair being the supreme emotions of which man is capable, is at once the type and test of all great men.
It was but many moons ago that I entered prison as a child of feeble mind, but then soon my mind, body and soul (according well) will emerge to again make one music as before, but faster!
