Kellis Djon Jackson

Kellis Djon Jackson - I'm considerate, charismatic, cultured, well-traveled and a great listener. I have a college degree, and I like to think I'm very intelligent. I'm both up-lifting and down-to-earth. And I possess an abundance of style and class. For those of you attracted to a certain "thug" mentally, sorry, I'm simply not your man. I'm a gentleman in every sense of the word. I'm a strong believer in respect, common courtesy and good manners. And I intend on being this way until the very end!
Presently I have my cases back in court. As a result, I'm very optimistic that I'll be released in the not so distant future. I'm a very goal-oriented person. Right now I'm consumed with the goal of figuring out how, once free, I can beat the odds and stay free. In this economy and certain stigmas attached with ex-convicts, I realize it's going to take more than a "vow" and the "hope" of finding a good job. It's going to take solid preparation and a well thought out plan. Over the years I've tried to prepare myself not only to survive, but to succeed and prosper when my chance comes. This quest took the forms of reading hundreds of books, and taking courses on everything from "Writing a successful business plan". . . "Problem resolutions for highly successful people" . . . and "How to be the best part of a rewarding relationship". . . to "Advanced computer applications". But even still, I feel as if I should be learning more. I just can't figure out what. . .
This is why I'm reaching out to anyone who may have some unique ideas, inputs or opinions on ways I may succeed when I get out of here. I have interests in business management and ownership, real estate and fund raising for disadvantaged kids with terminal illnesses, and other worthy causes. I welcome letters from business managers and owners who can offer advice on getting business loans, or new products, services or markets. . . Or from real estate brokers and developers who can instruct me on distressed properties, or financing properties with no money down. . . or how to get started as a fund raiser. I would love it if someone wanted to take me "under their wing" and be my mentor. I promise to be a prize pupil!
I welcome anyone who wants to write for friendship as well. But, as statistics show, 85% of released prisoners return within the first year, I'm extremely open to anyone who can help me better prepare myself to be among the 15% that don't!
