Serenity can be found in many places. I have often enjoyed it on the gulf coast. Many nights have I watched the stars traverse the heavens with the salt air blowing on my face, waves falling softly at my feet. The stars fade with the approaching dawn, but the spell continues on the motionless wings of a gull riding the lazy breeze into the first glimpse of the sun. It is a good day. Only you can make it better.
I enjoy writing and have written some published poetry. I have just set my third novel aside as the semester year closes in on me. My second novel is currently on the market for publication. I am studying for a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. I have blue eyes and an open mind.
I have seen the fiery depths
Snowflakes on mountain tops
Flowers in jungles
Desert sand far and wide
Waves on beaches
The moon blue...
But I never saw anything
As beautiful as you.
