Greetings! My name is Mark. I am imprisoned at the United States Federal Supermax in Florence, Colorado, where I have been held in solitary confinement since 1999. I am a jailhouse lawyer and political essayist. My work, writings and essays focus on the political and social. I enjoy non-fiction, provocative poetry and art, and academia in action. I am conversational in Dutch, Spanish and English. I am interested in meeting other writers and politically/socially conscious individuals for intelligent exchanges, brainstorming, friendship, possible collaboration, etc. Students are welcome and encouraged.
