In my current environment I must not show weakness, compassion of any kind, or other character defects that may make me appear vulnerable. With a cold demeanor, I stay alert of all that goes on around me. The prison politics of who's who and what's what are all factors I must be aware of so that I may complete my journey through this hell and be delivered safely back into the real world.
Win, lose, or draw, I've taken chances of all kinds my entire life without ever having risked getting close to anyone emotionally or mentally.
