How can an individual be truly complete without a soulmate by his, or her side? I like not only to be loved, but to be told that I'm loved. The realm of silence is large enough beyond the grave. One's heart needs to be loved, like a lamp, it needs to be fed out of the oil of another's heart, or its flame will burn low. You see, regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship may appear in the beginning, some times passion fades, and there had better be something else to keep it burning. And to me that is true friendship. For a relationship, and a friendship are all in one together.
Many individuals will walk in and out of your life, yet only true friendships will leave footprints in your heart. It's amazing how some of the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you back up. Family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of your heart, love you, and teach you to trust people again. Families aren't always biological. For families are built from love, and patience. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
A relationship between two people is important. It may be of a friendship level, or it may hold a greater value. This value system is what I truly seek in another. One that will keep my heart company, and that I in return will be able to provide the same calmness that deep friendship arouses. Friendships are powerful, yet communication is essential. Let's talk.
