I am a person who shares lots of different insights on life. Unfortunately for me, incarceration has dampened them. I have been subjected to this different world for 9 years, and I can honestly say that prison can be lonely beyond comparison. It would be really nice to make new friends with whom I could continue to stay in contact with once released.

Conformity can at times seems like a deserted island in the middle of nowhere. I often think of the ways of society and it almost feels like losing touch with the realness of the existing world.

I have several talents such as, I write poetry, songs, literature, etc. I would be very pleased to share my material. I love to sing gospel music with a feel for different kinds of music. I've always felt that music is the melody to the heart. I have a lot of special, fun memories that I would love to share. I believe strongly in the art of communication. My hobbies are reading, camping, boating, etc.

I just want someone not to look down upon me and act as if I don't count in this world. Prison can make the very small things in life become big. I feel we will enjoy writing to each other.

Sanity

Fear, of the unknown, lingering in the
resting places of my mind,
Tis the thin line of sanity and insanity
in which I struggle.

Lying here, unquestioned, unheard,
unseen and literally forgotten,
faced with the very thought!
Am I sane or insane?

I constantly focus on whether education,
integrity, intellect or principal is what makes a human sane?
Yet after careful thought and consideration,
I now know that sanity lies within the bedded channels, and tunnels,
of the mind, heart and soul.

So I am left lying here to ponder!
Where do I take place in this thin line?
I am just as much human as any other,
so I choose for myself to be amongst
the very sane of this world.
