As an innocent man I was forced to undergo the indignity of a trial and conviction for an alleged sexual assault of a well-known prostitute who is now currently incarcerated for a homicide.
With the help of my public defender, all of my rights guaranteed to me as a citizen of the United States were trampled upon by an overzealous police department and prosecutor acting under the color of law to secure a quick conviction, having complete and utter disregard for my rights against unreasonable search and seizures and for evidentiary facts purposely omitted at trial, such as, the identification of the alleged assailant; whereby, if this and other facts were presented, no fact finder acting reasonably could have reached a verdict of guilty.
