I'm 32 years old and this is my first time to prison. My case is complex, it involves the state of Washington, the state of Oregon and the Federal Court in Oregon. I've been convicted in all three jurisdictions for a total of 160 months. My attorney convinced me to falsely testify in a separate criminal matter in order to help my situation. When I failed to cooperate he withdrew from the case, I've told every attorney that I have talked to about the situation (court appointed). None have helped. I can prove I didn't commit certain crimes but no one has presented this proof before any judge in any court. I was the getaway driver in one unarmed bank robbery, a convenience story robbery where I was forced to drive, and an actual primary in the Washington armed robbery. To this day I cannot explain why I even participated, I believe it was a breakdown of some kind, I have a long history of abuse and depression. The state of Oregon gave me an upward departure of 70 months without any prior convictions, only speculation. I can make payments. Relief has been granted at the federal level (for the federal charges). I need help in the state.
