Someone who is sincere, honest, and open? Well, my name is Robert and as you can see, I am currently incarcerated. I am here because I made some bad choices in life, however, I believe God has gracefully given me this opportunity to reflect on and learn from my mistakes and do the things I need to do to better my life and become a positive and productive member of society upon my release.
While in prison, I have earned an associate's degree in business and am currently a student at Sam Houston State University majoring in sociology. One of my goals in life is to secure a management position in the food service industry.
I enjoy playing chess, shooting pool, listening to music, particularly jazz and reading courtroom drama novels (my favorite author is John Grisham). And I love to cook! I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA (the City of Brotherly Love). As you would imagine, prison can be a very lonely place, especially for someone as myself who does not have any family nor receive any correspondence from the outside world. Getting a letter from someone would make a big difference in my life. I am interested in a female pen pal who is mature, honest, caring, and with a sense of humor. Race and age are not important. True friendship is hard to find in this world, especially in prison. So let's become friends.
