I ran across this quote and although I don't necessarily believe the unknown author I certainly understand the concept/idea he or she was inspired by. On that note, I have to say that hell is not "being in prison", hell is "being alone in prison" because the being alone is what hurts the most just like my man "Case" & "Usher" said. So with that in mind, I wrote this poem in hopes that it would reach a very special young lady.
There's no wind in my sails, no gas in my tank...
There's no train on my rails, no cash in my bank...
There's no pep in my step, no light in my life...
No significant other, lover, girlfriend or wife...
My pleas for COMPASSION... objective and true,
My pleas for the woman, THE REAL WOMAN IN YOU
I am a man who's used to having a woman in his life so this prison time is especially hard on me. I'm 5'10", an athletic 200 lbs., and considered handsome by most.
