My name is Steven C. Glenn. Here are some things I know and some things I do not know. I know that there are may highly educated, highly intelligent individuals who work for this great nation's justice and penal systems. What I do not know is how they can face themselves in the mirror, or how they can sleep well at night, morally knowing what they have sitting before their very eyes; or have participated in themselves...
I know that I've been wrongfully convicted and have lost 9 years of my life and several family members of whom I'll never be able to see upon this earth again. What I don't know or understand, is how this can so easily happen in such a great nation as ours and how it continues to happen and go on and on and on every single day.
I know that I had a court-appointed trial attorney and a court-appointed appeal attorney who both did more against me than they ever did for me. And know I filed a writ for Article 3 DNA retesting well over 18 months ago, got another court-appointed attorney, who herself, filed her own writ well over a year ago. What I don't know is why I have yet to return to Harris County for this procedure and why my latest attorney has failed to even contact me for well over six months now...
If I had the time and space upon this page to take you over all the errors and misgivings within this case, it would astound you. But unfortunately I do not, so if you'd be so kind as to contact me directly, asking me whatever you may like to know I'll be only too happy to oblige you with whatever I'm able to.
The dire needs within my care are: a wrongfully convicted support group, one or more philanthropist, and a pro-bono attorney or two. Please know though, "I am deeply grateful" for any and all you may be able to do.
