Thank you everyone who has taken the time to reach out to the men and women listed on this site. In just a short while, you have opened your hearts to many of the lonely prisoners asking for your friendship.

We are receiving letters daily to say thank you. You are writing letters from all over the world. Men are hearing from caring people in Australia, Italy, Denmark, Trinidad, Ireland, England, Africa and throughout much of the US.

With just a stamp and a few kind words, you are letting these men know they are not alone. Your letters are allowing them to hope again and to dream. You are allowing them to smile. They have something they treasure, a friend they can call their own.

The many letters we are receiving are the measure of the success of the site. We owe all our thanks to you! Some of the ads have received several responses in under a month. This is incredibly exciting for us. We work hard advertising and helping where we can to make the ads as informative as possible.

We can never thank you enough for the kindness you show to these men who so desperately depend on your letters and friendship. They will never forget your kindness. They will forever remember there was a time when they were down and you were there.

From time to time, we'd like to share some of the special letters we receive. They are so uplifting and so full of wonder, that they need to be shared. We hope you understand we will not be publishing their names. We don't want the fact that they have a pen pal to stop you from writing to them. Not all friendships work out and we don't wish to deter you from a possible special friendship.

Since the changes were made to my ad I have received 3 responses (in 21 days). You really should offer to write personal ads for those who don't know how based on the information we send you. Sometimes it is hard knowing how to say things. Thanks you also for the extra stuff you did, by helping to find my family and finding song lyrics for me. You know, I tell people how helpful and cool you are but they are still skeptical. No one can understand how someone could care about us in here, you know? I keep showing them proof you are for real, and some of them are coming around.
