I'm Willie, age 33, born in St. Petersburg, Fla. I'm a real good listener and I have no problem expressing myself honestly. To laugh is to risk appearing a (fool). To weep is to risk appearing too (sentimental). To express your feelings is to risk (rejection). To tell your dreams and inspirations is to risk being (ridiculed). To love someone completely is to risk not being (loved). To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk (failure). To reach out as I'm doing now to you is to risk all the above wrapped into one, but risk must be taken. The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, and consequently is nothing. They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they may not learn to feel, change, grow or love, chained by their uncertainty they become slaves forfeiting their freedom.
