I know who I am, what I love in life, and how to enjoy living. With the exception of a few real friends here, I try to remain aloof from the average prison drama. I attend college through correspondence. I write short stories and poems, and I'm working on a novel. I maintain close ties to my family and friends in the free world - that's me, with my mother and little sisters, in the photo.
I'm six feet four inches tall, 215 pounds, and very athletic. My personal interests are many and varied, from soccer and cycling to psychology and comparative religious studies. I enjoy reading and art. I also plan to compete in triathlons one day. I'm not afraid of trying new things. I come from a bicultural background. My mother is Irish; my father is African-American.
The odds of us meeting our soul mates through the mail are terrible, so I'm just looking to find a sincere friend in a woman who desires the same. Frankly, prison brings isolation that I cannot fully escape until I'm released. Making this new friend will surely brighten this place up a bit. Friendship definitely transcends prison.
